Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Press Release and Content Creation
  • Craft compelling press releases and engaging social media posts for diverse clients and special projects.
  • Develop ad copy and contribute to the creation of publicity collaterals.
  • Generate relevant social media content highlighting the company’s ongoing projects and interviews.
  • Contribute content ideas for podcast.

 2. Media Relations

  • Produce talking points and prepare company representatives for media interviews.
  • Conduct physical and email pitches to secure impactful publicity for the company’s brand and programme.
  • Coordinate seamless logistics for interviews, ensuring a smooth process from transportation to venue.

3. Event Management

  • Oversee certain parts of event management, including venue coordination, vendor arrangements, and financial transactions during events.
  • Conceptualize, plan, and organize events tailored to publicity and marketing objectives, addressing management inquiries and covering aspects such as itineraries, finance, and logistics.

4. Financial Management

  • Exercise financial oversight for specific projects pertaining to media and publicity.

5. Collaborations and Partnerships

  • Collaborate closely with designers to ensure cohesive collateral design relations.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team in creating corporate communications such as festive wishes and announcements
  • Provide valuable support in proofreading the company’s documents and statements.
  • Contribute actively to special projects, handling tasks related to PR.

6. CEO Assistance

  • Assist the CEO in various PR-related tasks, including documentation, interview arrangements, managing media gifts, and liaising effectively with the media.

Job Requirement:

    • Degree in Communications or Public Relations, with 2 years related experience (agency or in-house PR).
    • Candidates with relevant background, e.g., journalism, finance, fintech or corporate communications are preferred.
    • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns.
    • Possess media contacts with proven success in achieving media coverage and PR campaigns.
    • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English & Malay.
    • Savvy in digital and content marketing, the social media space and emerging trends.
    • Dynamic, organized and proactive team player who is nimble and can think on one’s feet.
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills to execute campaign and events with attention to detail.
    • Able to work under pressure and with tight timelines.
    • Self motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.
    • Performance driven with the willingness to go beyond the extra mile.
