The Product Owner will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by a software Scrum team in order to ensure impeccable features and functionality of the product. This role will work closely with stakeholders to deliver quality products that align with the company's vision and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it’s properly prioritized and aligned with business goals.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine product requirements.
Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with development teams to plan sprints and estimate effort.
Facilitate sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings.
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status regularly.
Analyze user feedback and market trends to inform product decisions.
Assist in creating product roadmaps and release plans.
Develop and communicate the product vision and roadmap in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Act as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
2-4 years of experience in product management or a related field.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
Excellent communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans.
Proficiency in using product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Basic understanding of software development processes.
Experience in finance or property industry is a plus. Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles is a plus point.
Basic understanding of data analysis and metrics.
Team player, self-motivated, independent with minimum supervision requirement coupled with positive working attitude.
